Follow these expert tips to maximise the lifespan of your halo extensions.
Gently brush your extensions to remove any tangles before washing. Use a wide-tooth comb starting from the ends and working up.
Fill a basin with lukewarm water (not hot) and add a small amount of sulphate-free shampoo. Never use regular shampoo with harsh chemicals.
Swish the extensions gently in the water - never rub or scrub vigorously as this can damage the fibres and cause tangling.
Apply conditioner from the mid-lengths to the ends only. Never apply conditioner to the root area or the wire as it can weaken the bonds.
Rinse with cool water to seal the cuticles and remove all product. Any residue left behind can cause buildup and tangling.
