Follow these simple steps for a flawless halo extension application every time.
Start with clean, dry hair. Brush thoroughly to remove any tangles using a wide-tooth comb or detangling brush. Create a horizontal part about 2 inches above your ears all the way around your head.
Pro Tip: For best results, slightly dirty hair (1-2 days unwashed) provides better grip than freshly washed hair.
Hold your halo extension with both hands and position it around your head like a headband. The wire should sit directly on your parting line - the area where you want the extensions to blend with your natural hair.
Pro Tip: The transparent wire is designed to be invisible, but positioning it slightly forward on your head ensures the best blend.
Gently adjust the transparent wire until it fits snugly but comfortably around your head. The wire should not feel tight or cause any discomfort. Most halo extensions have an adjustable mechanism for a custom fit.
Pro Tip: Test the fit by tilting your head forward, backward, and side to side - the halo should stay in place without shifting.
Release the top section of your hair that you parted earlier. Let it fall naturally over the halo wire. This creates a seamless blend between your natural hair and the extension.
